Project Virtual Panorama Tour
Ho is doing this
Hein Angermeyer is a multilingual naturalist guide to the Galapagos Islands and a passionate photographer. His fascination with the enchanted islands originates from his childhood when he grew up and went to elementary school in the Galapagos Islands. It should be noted that the Angermeyer family has legacy in the Galapagos and an interesting part of the history of the German settlements on the islands in the first stage of the last century.
He became a naturalist guide since 1990, many ventures over the next seven years. During this time, he developed his skills as a passionate photographer, which he takes care of much of his professional dedication.
The most recent developments in drone technology and applications since 2012, led Hein to combine his photographic skills along with the advanced use of aerial photography, as well as georeferenced mapping and video, for his documentation of landscape morphology and animal behavior of various species of islands.
The Project
The idea of this project is to collect in 360 panoramic aerial shots of all the 88 visitor sites of the Galapagos National Park and create a Virtual Digital Tour. All visitor sites will be linked to each other. There will be images and videos of each visit point, to get an idea of how each point of interest is.
Purpose
This will serve as a multipurpose guide for everyone: Tourists, Travel Agency, Student Companies, Scientists and the general public.
Galapagos is a unique place in the world.
Coordination
All these shots will be coordinated with the Galapagos National Park.
